About Me
I am a SCADA and industrial control systems specialist focused on one problem: connecting Operational Technology (OT) with Information Technology (IT) so that critical infrastructure becomes more visible, more reliable and easier to manage, without compromising safety or availability.
My expertise covers SCADA architecture, implementation and optimization, process control, and system integration. I help owners, EPC contractors and system integrators make sound engineering decisions early, validate what is being delivered, and build digital transformation initiatives on a secure and dependable control layer, including cybersecurity in OT.

FEED Participation for Complex SCADA Systems
I take part in Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) from initial concept through to detailed planning, guiding the critical design decisions that determine system performance, reliability and scalability. The aim is a robust, efficient architecture that can be built, operated and extended with confidence.
Review & Validation of Project Documentation
I provide independent, thorough review of the documents that define and prove a SCADA delivery:
- Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
- Detailed Design Specifications (DDS)
- Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
- Integrated Factory Acceptance Tests (IFAT)
- Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
Each review checks compliance with industry standards, project requirements and best practices. The result is reduced project risk, fewer surprises at commissioning, and better long-term operational performance.
Experience
20+ years of hands-on experience with the large-scale Egyptian gas grid SCADA infrastructure. This is mission-critical, national-level infrastructure where availability, accuracy and safe operation are non-negotiable. Working with it over two decades has given me practical knowledge of the real challenges of managing complex industrial control systems, and of the solutions that hold up in service.
I also have a strong programming background. It complements my SCADA expertise and allows me to design customized solutions, build advanced system integrations, and automate and optimize where off-the-shelf tools fall short.
